Prostrating five hundred names Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara

On occasion the birthday of Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara, at 17 p.m in the evening of July 13th - 17th, 2022 (June 15th - 19th, LC), Hoằng Pháp Pagoda organized the prostration of five hundred names Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara. This rite helps Buddhists to pay tribute and practice following His vows, as well as pray to their family for peace and happiness.

Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva is the symbol of compassion, love, support and protection for all sentient beings. He is a saint listening to the suffering cry of all species to find salvation. When reciting the name Avalokitesvara, we will arouse love in our heart. From there, we could open our minds and transform the sufferings of ourselves and others.
