Prostrating five hundred names Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara

Towards the anniversary of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva's enlightenment (June 19th of the lunar calendar), Hoang Phap Pagoda organized the prostration of five hundred names Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara at 17 45’ p.m in the evening of June 15th to 19th, LC. This rite helps Buddhists to practice following His vows, as well as pray to their family for peace and happiness.

Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva is the symbol of compassion, love, support and protection for all sentient beings. He is a saint listening to the suffering cry of all species to find salvation. When reciting the name Avalokitesvara, we will arouse love in our heart. From there, we could open our minds and transform the sufferings of ourselves and others.

At the Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva's lotus throne of Hoang Phap Pagoda, there is a candle-lighting program to celebrate Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara's enlightenment. The program is performed by singer Quynh Trang, and has an impressive fireworks display. Sincerely invite Buddhists to return to attend this ritual!
