Prostrating five hundred names Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara

On occasion of Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara 's ordination at 17: 45’ p.m in the evening of Oct. 29th – Nov. 02nd, 2023 (Sep. 15th - 19th, LC), Hoằng Pháp Pagoda organized the prostration of five hundred names Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara. This rite helps Buddhists to practice following His vows, as well as pray to their family for peace and happiness.

Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva is the symbol of compassion, love, support and protection for all sentient beings. She is a saint listening to the suffering cry of all species to find salvation. When reciting the name Avalokitesvara, we will arouse love in our heart. From there, we could open our minds and transform the sufferings of ourselves and people around us.

At the Guan Yin shrine of Hoang Phap Pagoda, at 19:30 p.m on Sep. 19th, a flower candle lighting will take place to commemorate Bodhisattva Avalokiteśvara's enlightenment. The program featured singer Quynh Trang and an impressive firework display. Sincerely invite Buddhists to return to attend this ritual!
