Prostrating five hundred names Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara

A lot of Buddhists returned to Hoang Phap pagoda to attend a prostration rite to the titles Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara in the evening of March 14th, 2025 (Feb.15th, LC).

As a Bodhisattva is fairly familiar to Buddhists, the Avalokitesvara is a symbol of compassion, love, listening, protection and shelter  to all beings. Her vows to save suffering beings and Her great compassion allow sentient beings to be in that boundless light, become more and more diligent on their way of learning Buddhism and cultivating virtue, bringing joy and happiness to everyone. The monks started up His titles first, the mass repeated the name "Namo Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva" together, contributing to the ritual solemn atmosphere.
