Prostrating five hundred names Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara

On occasion of Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara 's Birthday in the evening of March 14th – 18th, 2025 (Feb. 15th - 19th, LC) Hoằng Pháp Pagoda organized the prostration of five hundred titles Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara. This rite helps Buddhists to practice following Her vows, as well as pray to their family for peace and happiness.

Bồ Tát Quán Thế Âm in Sanskrit language is "Avalokitesvara", or Chinese language is an Easy Observer, who can listen and see all the suffering, mourning of sentient beings in the world to save them. This is only available in the Bodhisattvas that are even profound with compassion, so Buddhists often chant Her Title, not only to pray for Her salvation but also to practice, then follow Her compassionate, vow to practice and transform their inside so that build this happy life, as well as to sow the seeds of love and intelligence in future lives.

 

A lot of male and female Buddhists returned to attend the prostrating rite of five hundred-title Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara on the night of February 19th, LC.

 

The Abbot instructing the ritual chanted the names Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara, the participants repeated "Namo Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva" after each of Her name. The energy emanating from the attendees' devotion is to pray for peace in the World, all beings to be joyful, all homes to be warm and happy.
