Prostrating five hundred names Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara by Hieu and Thuong Group

At Guan Yin shrine of Hoang Phap Pagoda, a flower candle lighting and music program took place to commemorate Bodhisattva Avalokiteśvara's Birthday in the evening of lunar Feb. 19th, LC (18/03/2025).

Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva is the symbol of compassion, love, support and protection for all sentient beings. She is a saint listening to the suffering cry of all species to help salvation. When reciting the name Avalokitesvara, we will generate love in our heart and then will open our minds, transform the sufferings of ourselves and people around us.

 

On behalf of the Organizers after stabilizing the ashram, Junior Thich Tam Trinh announced the reason, introduced the program, and the rite was officially held in solemnity and respect. The energy emanating from the mass 's devotion is to pray for peace in the World, sentient beings to be joyful, all homes to be warm and happy.

 

The singing program was performed by the Lien Hoa group with Buddhist songs. The ritual ended in the joy of the mass.
