Recognition Award for Vesak Decoration at Buddhists’ Residences

On the occasion of 2561th Vesak this year, Hoang Phap keeps on holding campaign "Welcome Tathagata and Vesak” encouraging Buddhists’ families celebrating Buddha’s Birthday with flags, decorative lights, banner, Vesak stage and Lumbini garden to pay tribute to Shakyamuni Buddha who came to this world to teach us Buddhism, the Path to liberation. This campaign has been advocated by devout Buddhists.

In response to the enthusiasm from lay members, Hoang Phap monks came to Buddhist residences in HCMC and neighboring areas to visit, contemplate and award recognition to their efforts. This is the encouragement for their sincere hearts. May this meaningful movement have sustained development in the future.

Besides festive campaigns, monks in Hoang Phap Pagoda always advise Buddhists carrying out many good deeds and merits during the season as giving out, releasing captured creatures, helping people in needs/lonely elderly people/ orphans/ disabled ones. Additionally, business units and shops are encouraged having promotional activities to customers and taking Vesak as a holiday (i.e. leave-day for workers) if it possible; hoping that everyone can enjoy Buddha's birthday with peace, ease and happiness with their families.
