Religion Section, Department of Home Affairs in Thai Binh province visited Hoang Phap Pagoda

In the afternoon of May 12, 2017 (April 17, lunar calendar), Religion Section, Department of Home Affairs in Thai Binh province, led by Mr. Bui Van Hien, Deputy Director of Department of Home Affairs, together with other members as Mr. Pham Quang Ruat, Head of Religion Committee, Mr. Nguyen Quang Minh, Deputy Head of Religion Committee and other members of the Committee in the province, and districts of Thai Binh province, on the trip to Southern Vietnam, dropped by Hoang Phap Pagoda to donate flowers and pay homage to Buddha on the occasion of Vesak .
Because the Abbot has been in his retreat since February, 2017, Reverend Thich Tam Dao, Deputy Abbot of Hoang Phap Pagoda, on behalf of the Abbot, welcome and had a friendly talk to the delegation.
During the talk, the delegation sent great thanks to the Abbot of Hoang Phap Pagoda for his kindness supporting the transportation during its trip in the South. Flowers and fruits were offered to Triratna and a painting was presented to the pagoda on the occasion of Vesak by the delegation.
Reverend Thich Tam Dao, on behalf of the Abbot, sent them his thanks and regards for the visit.
Besides, the Venerable also recalled and thanked the Religious Department of Thai Binh province as well as the Department of Home Affairs of Kien Xuong district for their kind facilitation supporting the paper-works, and Buddhism activities for Tay Khanh Pagoda, whose abbot is Venerable Thich Tam Kinh. The Deputy Abbot hoped that in the future, departments, agencies and governors at all levels of Thai Binh province, keep on supporting and facilitating Venerable Thich Tam Kinh in his Buddhism activities in the province.
At the end of the visit, the Deputy Abbot, on behalf of the Abbot of Hoang Phap pagoda, wished the delegation all the best on the trip and sent each member a Dharma gift. After that, the Reverend invited the delegation a travel tour through the pagoda and taking photographs before keeping on their trip.
