Repentance ceremony at Giai Lam Pagoda

On Oct. 24, 2022 (Sep. 29th, year of the Tiger), men and women Buddhists returned to Giai Lam pagoda in Ha Tinh province (belonging to the custom of Hoang Phap 's pagoda) to attend a periodical penitential ritual.

After stabilizing the ashram, the mass practiced together the penitential ritual. When the penitential rite ended, all practitioners listened to a dharma talk preached by Junior Thich Tam Luc.

From the recent "Teenager toward Buddhism" retreat, he raised the importance of young people coming to the temple and encouraging Buddhists at the ashram, creating conditions for their children and grandchildren to go to the temple to study. In addition, he shared more about the family connection between children and parents, as well as the method of educating children according to the Buddha's teachings.

After the dharma talk, the mass started the penitential ceremony as usual.
