On U.N Vesak on April 15th, Buddhist visited here very\r\ncrowded on this day. Senior Ven. Thich Tam Duc shared with the Buddhists a\r\nDrama talk about Sakyamuni Buddha’s life before the U.N Vesak started.

\r\n\r\n

During the Drama talk, a summary Buddha’s life from\r\nbirth to the Nirvana was told.

\r\n\r\n

The Buddha was born in 624 B.C. in Middle India, which\r\nhas been 26 centuries. During a long time, it may be certain that the documents\r\nof the Buddha’s history will be erroneous because many copies result in\r\ndeviation from the original. The next generations can add to details of\r\nmythical content to increase in Buddhist’s belief. Nowadays, with backgrounds\r\nbased on advanced scientific information on practices, Buddhists must explore\r\nthe historic Buddha’s life to avoid many fusses so as not to fall into\r\nsuperstition easily. However, in terms of history or religion, whether the real\r\nBuddha or the legendary Buddha, his life has remained a shining example for\r\ngenerations to follow.

\r\n\r\n

After the Drama talk, as usual is the repentance session of\r\nreciting the Budhhas’ names, the precepts.
