Repentance ceremony on Feb. 14th, Year of the Cat at Giai Lam Temple – Ha Tinh

On March 05th, 2023 (Feb. 14th, Year of the Cat), good men and believing women returned to Giai Lam Temple in Ha Tinh (belonging to Hoang Phap pagoda’s custom) to attend the periodic penance rite.

After stabilizing the ashram, the mass practiced together a six-sense penitential ritual. Then, at the invitation of Junior Thich Tam Luc, Junior Thich Tam Dao - Vice Abbot of Linh An Pagoda (Taiwan) had a time to preach to the mass. From the Buddha's teachings, Most Master’s verses of Hoang Phap pagoda, the monk reminded attendees human life’s value so that each of them could diligently practice. Moreover, with his own learning experience, he has come up with methods to eliminate anger, helping listeners realize the harm to transform, and change themselves for the better.

At the end of Dharma talk, the monks presented book gifts of Dharma to the mass. The rite ended in the joy of the participants.
