Repentance Ceremony on Feb. 30th, Year of the Dragon and charity activities on the first day of lunar month at Dong Cao pagoda, Thanh Hoa

After stabilizing the ashram, the mass began a rite to repent six senses, chanted mantra, and review five precepts of lay people.
In response to the Organizers' invitation, Junior Thich Tam Dieu, monks of Hoang Phap Pagoda in HCMC came to Ngo Chan Tu lecture hall to give a sermon with the topic "Belief in Pure Land Teachings".
The monk clearly pointed out the core of the practice after over an hour of sharing: To be free and reborn requires Belief, Vows and Practice. He helps the mass gain more knowledge to be more steadfast on the path of cultivating and studying Buddhism, following the right path that the Buddha and the Patriarchs showed.
On April 09th, 2024 all Buddhists returned to Dong Cao Pagoda in Thanh Hoa province to attend a one-day retreat and charity activities on the first day of the lunar month.
All attendees and Junior Abbot Thich Tam Hung continued to make vegetarian rice and released creatures to sow conditions for believers attending.
After chanting the Sutra, the mass, and monks went to Nga Son district market to buy fish sold in the market, and performed a rite to release them to nature.
Moreover, the group also bought foods, vegetables-fruits to give as gifts to Buddhists coming to the temple. Next, the mass returned to the pagoda to chant the Noble Eightfold Path and recite Buddha's name to continue the practice in the morning.
The cultivation day closed in joy for all attendees.
