Repentance ceremony on June 30th, Year of the Tiger

On July 28th, 2022 (June 30th, LC), men and women Buddhists inside and outside HCMC to Hoang Phap pagoda to attend the periodical penitential ceremony.

Before the ritual, Junior Thich Tam Trinh had a session to share the Buddhadharma with the mass, named " The gambling of life".

For a long time, people's minds have had a negative view of a person's intention to become a monk. On the occasion of this talk, the monk analyzed the mental will of cultivators when leaving a material living to follow the path of deliverance. 

He confided about the time before following the footsteps of Tathagata, it was the beautiful memories of his teenage years, the wounds in his life, and then those things were the predestined factors that brought him to Buddhism to the path of the monastic. The monk talked about the challenges and adversities while studying to turn on the ideal, spirit, personality and morality of practitioners; or the path to propagate the dharma, bring teachings into life to help everyone know Buddhadharma, practice and study the Dharma to have a peaceful and  deliverance life.

After the Dharma talk, the mass started the penitential ceremony as usual.
