On May 03rd, 2023 (March 14th, Year of the Cat), good men and believing women returned to Giai Lam Temple in Ha Tinh (belonging to Hoang Phap pagoda’s custom) to attend the periodic penance rite.

After stabilizing the ashram, the mass practiced together a six-sense penitential ritual and chanted precepts. Next, all practitioners listened to a dharma talk about the initial conditions of Buddha 's brief Sutra at the time of Nirvana, and its main content; then, he reminded the mass regularly return to the temple to chant daily, which continue listening to more detailed explanations of parts of the scriptures.

The rite ended in the joy of the participants.
