On May 18th, 2023 (March 29th, Year of the Cat), good men and believing women returned to Giai Lam Temple in Ha Tinh (belonging to Hoang Phap pagoda’s custom) to attend the periodic penance rite.

After stabilizing the ashram, the mass practiced together a six-sense penitential ritual and chanted precepts. To prepare well for the upcoming Buddha's Birthday (Buuddhist calendar 2567 – Solar  calendar 2023), Junior Thich Tam Luc informed about the arrangement and assignment of affairs. On behalf of the ashram, he invited all good men and believing women to come to the temple, and attend the great ceremony of Buddha's birthday on lunar April 10th, year of the Cat.

The rite ended in the joy of the participants.
