Repentance Ceremony on March 29th, Year of the Dragon at Giai Lam Pagoda - Ha Tinh

Male and female Buddhists come to Giai Lam pagoda (belonging to Hoang Phap pagoda 's Sect), Binh Tien village, Tan Lam Huong commune, Thach Ha district, Ha Tinh province to attend the regular repentance and precept chanting of May 07th, 2024 (March 29th, LC).

After stabilizing the ashram, the mass practiced together a six-sense penitential ritual and chanted precepts.

To help Budhhists have a peaceful and happy life in family, society and ashram, Junior Thich Tam Luc preached a sermon named Four trusts to the mass.

Teachings of Four trusts (trust in the Law not in men; trust in sùtras containing ultimate truth; trust in truth not in words; trust in wisdom growing out of eternal truth and not in illusory knowledge). Four trusts are fully called four things that practitioners should and should not believe. This is a method of superior means from the perspective of Mahayana Buddhism with the purpose of helping practitioners clearly know and choose which methods they should or should not rely on, thereby achieving liberation and enlightenment.

The ritual ended in the joy of the mass.
