Repentance ceremony on Oct. 14th, Year of the Tiger

On Nov. 07th, 2022 (Oct. 14th, Year of the Tiger), men and women Buddhists inside and outside HCMC returned to Hoang Phap pagoda to attend the periodical penitential ceremony.

Before the rite, Junior Thich Tam Hanh gave a dharma talk named "Unstable world".

During the Dharma talk, the monk shared: We are living in a world that is too unstable, or rather, the world around us is always having too much instability. The world is inherently a chain of hyperlinks between interrelated symbiotic relationships. Therefore, when the world is in crisis, people are considered victims, and people are also the cause of those crises.

To solve these problems, the only way to overcome it is to return to the spiritual world, practice diligently and meditate. When our mind is at peace, it will be the foundation for a more peaceful society, the main practice is to return to the spiritual source. Let's light up the lamp of wisdom, and rebuild together the nation's spiritual roots, contributing to bringing people and the worldview to peace and stability.

After the dharma talk, the mass started the penitential ceremony as usual.
