On July 04th, 2020 (lunar May 14th, Year of Mouse), good men and believing women in and out Nga Sơn district returned to Dong Cao Pagoda to attend the periodic penance ceremony.

Before beginning the rite, Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hung, the Abbot of Dong Cao Pagoda instructed all attendees to listen to mindful and awake bells in gratitude to the Three Jewels, remembering current parents and ancestors. Next, that is the gratitude to afflictions and sufferings in life and praying to transform them.

After that, the mass started the repentant rite as usual. After that, the participants sat together to share their practice and cultivation.
