Repentant Ceremony at Minh Chat ashram in Can Tho

On July 2nd, 2023 (May 15th, Year of the Cat) Junior Thich Tam Hue and devout Buddhists of Hoang Phap Pagoda returned to Minh Chat ashram in Can Tho to attend a periodic penance rite. Especially, 16 children during the summer vacation were taken by their parents to the ashram to attend in this penitential rite.

The mass watched a short video about the Hoang Phap Pagoda’s Charity Board activities, trips to help unfortunate fates, poor and near-poor families, giving humanitarian houses, building charity bridges, retreats of One day Practice, repentance ceremony at Minh Chat Ashram (Can Tho)

Next, monks and Buddhists performed the repenting ritual, reciting the Buddha name while walking as usual.

On this occasion, the ashram gave gifts of Dharma to all Buddhists who attended the repentance rite, including Lessons for Buddhists, Practice at home, and Mouth Karma composed by Most Thich Chan Tinh.

The rite was completed to the joy of the mass.
