Repentant ceremony for Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva Titles

Hoang Phap pagoda organized a prostration rite to the title Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara in the evening of March 17th, 2024 (Feb. 08th, LC) for a lot of Buddhists returning to the temple to attend.

The pagoda will have a ritual to kowtow the name Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara on the 8th and 23rd every month of lunar day. Regular practice of repentance will direct people to reflect on their pure nature, spread peaceful energy, alleviate fear caused by greed, hatred, delusion as well as the bustles in life; from there, people will become more peaceful and happier.

Next, the rite is held according to a traditional way, Junior Thich Tam Trinh chanted the name Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara, after each of Her names, the mass repeated: "Namo Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva". The energy emanating from the mass 's devotion is to pray for peace in the World, sentient beings to be delighted, all homes to be warm and happy.

The program was performed by the Lien Hoa group, singer Ngan Trang with Buddhist songs.

The ritual ended in the joy of the mass.
