Repentant ceremony for the names of Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara

Hoang Phap pagoda organized the prostration rite to the title Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara on the evening of June 25th, 2023 (May 08th, Year of the Cat) for thousand devout Buddhists returned to the temple to attend.

The pagoda will have a ritual to kowtow the title Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara on the 8th and 23rd every lunar month. Regular practice of repentance is to direct people back to their pure nature, spread peaceful energy, alleviate fear caused by greed, hatred, delusion as well as the hustle and bustle of life; from there, people will become more peaceful and happier.

Next, the rite is conducted according to a traditional way, Junior Thich Tam Trinh chanted the name Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara. After each of Her name, the mass repeated: "Namo Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva". The energy emanating from the devotion of the mass is to pray for peace in the World, sentient beings to be delighted, all home to be warm and happy, epidemic will be repelled soon.

The program also performed singer Thien Minh with the songs: Kowtow Avalokitesvara Mother.

The ritual ended in the joy of the mass.
