Repentant Ceremony May 14th, 2019

On June 16th, 2019 (May 14th, LC), devout Buddhist from in and outside HCMC came to Hoang Phap for taking the monthly repentant ceremony.

A Dharma Talk was given to all participants from Ven. Thich Tam Manh, a Hoang Phap monk, on the title of Venerable Sariputta – The Life And Works.

In the talk, a summary on the life and works of Venerable Sariputta, one of the most important disciples of the Buddha was delivered. From his life, we learn some valuable lesson about patience, about appreciation and repaying them, about modesty, about a dutiful son and how to live a responsible life for all people. From this, we should take a look back ourselves for further practice, lead to liberation.

Finished the talk, people started the repentant ceremony.
