Repentant Ceremony on (intercalary) Feb. 29th, Year of the Cat at Dong Cao pagoda

In the evening of April 19th, 2023 (intercalary Feb. 29th, Year of the Cat), good men and believing women everywhere returned to Dong Cao Pagoda (belonging to Hoang Phap pagoda’s custom) in Thanh Hoa to attend a periodic penance rite.

First, Buddhist Lien Hong, as Head member of ashram Yen Phap reviewed the mass ‘s activity rules at the ashram.

Next, Dong Cao pagoda’s Junior Abbot Thich Tam Hung instructed the mass in chanting sutra, prostrating Buddha’s names, as well as reviewing Three Refuge - Five Precepts. Then, he shared dharma words, helping them diligently cultivate and firmly believe in Three Jewel.

Last, the mass received the temple’s gifts after the rite.
