Repentant Ceremony on May 30th, Year of the Cat at Dong Cao pagoda, Thanh Hoa

In the evening of July 17th, 2023 (May 30th, Year of the Cat), good men and believing women everywhere returned to Dong Cao Pagoda (belonging to Hoang Phap pagoda’s custom) in Thanh Hoa to attend a periodic penance rite.

After stabilizing the ashram, Junior Abbot Thich Tam Hung came to main hall, instructed the mass together to repent a six-sense penitential ritual and chanted precepts, firmly believe in the Three Jewels, vow to cultivate which build a pure land in the human world and after giving birth to a peaceful realm.

Last, the monk announced 1st Retreat: the path leading to the right direction, 14th Retreat: I ‘ve returned ... on July 22nd-23rd, 2023 at Dong Cao Pagoda, Thanh Hoa.
