Repentant Ceremony on Sep. 29th, Year of Mouse

Before beginning the rite, Junior Ven. Thich Tam Khoi had a dharma talk to all the participants.
There are many worries within a human life, desperate to make a living to pursue what we own, then look back, it has lasted during its whole lifetime. In human life, we tend to live more with an unsettled and miserable mind than with peacefulness and happiness, so what have we brought for the future? From the verse in the scriptures, Junior Ven. has analyzed the suffering of human life, ones often focus on two issues: always remember the past and look forward to the future, not really put their whole body and mind at the present moment.
He advised the mass to always put mindfulness at the present to identify suffering in the mind by four ways: recognizing the appeared suffering in the mind, examining the cause of suffering, accepting that happening in mind and are not identified with them. Mindfulness must be based on true belief in the Three Jewels, because it is the factor that promotes diligence in practice to transform suffering, understand the nature of life towards the path of enlightenment, deliverance.
After that, the mass listened to the song Sand dust in life.
After the talk, the mass entered the penitential ceremony as usual.
