Repentant ceremony Sep. 14th, Year of Buffalo

Because the epidemic situation is still complicated, the repentance ceremony took place only inside the pagoda on Oct. 19th, 2021 (Sep. 14th, LC). Next, the mass listened to the dharma from Junior Thich Tam Man.

Before starting the talk, the participants commemorated the victims who died because of the Covid-19 epidemic and vowed to bring peaceful energy to all.

Over an hour passed, the Junior gave a presentation on the necessary conditions for establishing a peaceful and happy life.

1. Depending on the current situation, one should live a good mind.

2. Having true faith (deeply believe in the Three Jewels, believe in the good in life...); On the contrary, false beliefs will lead people to fall into errors and mistakes.

3. Always contemplating impermanence to live well with yourself and the people next to you.

4. Letting go of self is to reduce suffering for others and for ourselves, because we always consider ourselves important and look down on others.

5. When there are difficulties and obstacles, instead of blaming life, people and not accepting reality and then letting your life go by heavily, should live optimistically, believe in yourself, believe in the kindness of life.

6. In order to live together comfortably and happily, the following factors are needed: patience, forbearance, and concession. That is, we should not be envious but tolerate one's mistakes, listen to each other and learn to be fools to live with our inner self.

After the Dharma talk, the mass started the penitential ceremony as usual.
