In the morning of Aug. 11th, 2020 (June 22nd, the Rat year), on the news of Most Thich Minh Loi ’s death, Senior Abbot Ven. Thich Chan Tinh, monks from Hoang Phap pagoda visited and burnt incense to offer the Most ’s spirit, praying that he would come to the land of Buddha.

 

Late Most Thich Minh Loi is known as dignitary of VietNam Buddhist Sangha in Hoc Mon district, Deputy of Director Board of Giac Nguyen Temple in Hoc Mon. Because of old age, he followed the impermanent rule and gave up the physical body at 10:20 on Aug. 10th, 2020 (June 21st, the Rat year), at 80 years old with 50 years of religious age at Giac Nguyen Pagoda, No 1/10C, Dan Thang 2 hamlet, Tan Thoi Nhi commune, Hoc Mon district, HCMC.

The entry ceremony in the funeral was held at 20:00 on Aug. 10th, 2020 (June 21st, the Rat year). The funeral will begin at 07:00, on Aug. 11th, 2020 (June 22nd, the rat year). The rite of commemorating and moving coffin at 7h00 on Aug. 13th, 2020 (June 24th, the rat year) at Long Phuoc Tho crematorium in Cu Chi.
