Ritual of visiting and paying homage to Most Venerable Thich Giac Quang’s Body

On the news of Most Thich Giac Quang ’s death, in the afternoon of April 11th, 2023 Abbot Thich Tam Truong, Vice Abbot Thich Tam Tri, monks of Hoang Phap pagoda visited and burnt incense to offer the Most’s spirit, praying Most's soul would come to the Buddha's realm.

Late Most Thich Giac Quang was member of the Demonstrating Council of VietNam Buddhist Sangha (VBS); Demonstrating of Dong Nai province 's Director Board of VBS, Leader of Quan Am monastery (Bien Hoa City, Dong Nai); because of old age, the Most followed the impermanent rule, and gave up the physical body at 23:00 on April 08th, 2023  with 77 years old, and 57 years of religious age at Quan Am monastery (Bien Hoa City, Dong Nai).

The funeral will be held at 07:00 on April 10th, 2023.

The commemoration rite would be held on 07:00 of April 14th, 2023; then, move his coffin to put into a stupa at Quan Am monastery (Bien Hoa City, Dong Nai).
