Setting up a Tet pole and 8th Gratitude Ceremony to disciples at Dong Cao Pagoda - Thanh Hoa

In the evening of Feb. 10th, 2026, Monks and Buddhists of Dong Cao Pagoda had a Tet pole setting rite according to national tradition, the arriving sign of the Spring of the Tet 2026.
Explaining the significance of setting the New Year's pole, the abbot said the Tet pole symbolizes the people's wishes for a peaceful, prosperous, and auspicious year. Following the program was the 8th annual "Gratitude Ceremony for Disciples" held at the temple. Not only a summary of Buddhist activities in the past year, the Gratitude Ceremony at Dong Cao Temple was extremely meaningful, allowing everyone to reflect and express gratitude to another one for the ideal of "propagating the Dharma and benefiting sentient beings," bringing benefits to themselves, society, and the Dharma. Last, Abbot Thich Tam Hung gave year-end gifts as a gratitude to the Buddhists. The ceremony concluded, leaving behind many memorable moments and joy for everyone.
