Showing Gratitude To Parents and Teachers – An Emotional Ceremony from the Kids

Before the “Sowing the Bodhi Seed” Ordination ceremony, the kids had an emotional ceremony to show their gratitude to parents and teachers, organized by the monks.

At 7:30 pm, having entered the Great Hall, the monk performs some rites and then Ven. Thich Tam Manh had some words about the meaning of the ceremony. The next are some short clips about mother heart.

The most emotional part is sending their warm saying to the monks and offering milk to parents. The kids start to clean parents’ hands and have some massages to feel how hard from parents had sacrificed for their growing up. Just small actions but really touch people’s heart.

Before the end of the ceremony, Ven. Thich Tam Trong left some warm words to the kids. He asked them to keep their duty to parents when going home. He hopes training course will become popular to orient and the kids, to train their personality for the benefit of family and society.
