Sowing conditions of leaving-home on the Buddha's birthday season 2019

On the occasion of the Vesak celebration of the United Nations 2019, Hoa Phuc pagoda (Hoa Thach commune, Quoc Oai district, Hanoi city) took place a series of activities to welcome Birthday of the Buddha Shakyamuni.

+ In two days 18th -19th of May, 2019 (lunar 14th -15th, of April, the year of the Pig), Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hoa – Abbot of Hoa Phuc pagoda held the rite of sowing conditions of leaving-home for 150 children aged 1-15 years.

+ The Monks organized a parade of flower carts to greet Buddha statue, Patriarch Tu Dao Hanh. On each road passing, people joined their hands to offer fruit tray of offerings.

+ The Great ceremony of the Buddha's birthday and taking refuge in the Three Jewels was attended by Junior Ven. Thich Dao Duyet, Abbot of Ninh Tao Pagoda (Ha Nam); Junior Ven. Thich Nguyen Phap, abbot of Bac Vong Tay pagoda (Thua Thien Hue); Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hung, abbot of Dong Cao pagoda (Thanh Hoa) and the monks and nuns at the local came to attend.
