Spreading the love on Mid-Autumn Festival in Tay Ninh

Junior Ven. Thich Tam Dong, as Vice Abbot of Hoang Phap pagoda, monks and Buddhists visited one of the branches of Hoang Phap Pagoda in Tay Ninh on Sep. 29th, 2020 which is managed by Junior Thich Tam Thach to give gifts to children in Truong Mit commune, Duong Minh Chau district, Tay Ninh province.

Mid-Autumn Festival is a time for adults to express their care and love for children through lanterns and moon cakes. This chance, all members get together with a cup of tea, the cake makes the family's love more close and loving.

In the trip, there were Mr. Nguyen Van Loc, Deputy Secretary of Truong Mit commune; Mr. Nguyen Van Hung, Vice Chairman of Truong Mit commune; Mr. Tran Van Dung, Head of chief Police in Truong Mit commune.

At here, the delegation granted 2,100 mooncakes, 2,100 lanterns, 2,000 books named Baby Birds hungry and other gifts, also 150 gifts for teachers and the government. The delegation went to two primary schools Truong Mit B (900 portions); one kindergarten (400 portions); three elementary schools Truong Mit A (800 portions).

This is a spiritual gift not only bringing joy to the children but also an opportunity for monks to share their love with the community in this lovely Mid-Autumn season.
