Starting the Summer Retreat for children at Dong Cao pagoda

Aiming at a useful playground in summer days for children, Dong Cao Pagoda (Nga Yen, Nga Son, Thanh Hoa) organized the 2nd Summer Retreat for Children from ages 7-13 years old to attend with the theme "Temporary Ordination.” Retreat program takes place in many necessary activities to help children learn independence in life.

On the afternoon of July 20th, 2020 (lunar May 30th, Year of Mouse), over 200 children returned to the pagoda to register for the course. The Monk and Buddhists in the Buddhist Youth Club guided some essential demeanor of the Buddha's disciples, such as the way of greeting, worshiping to the Buddha, arranging blankets and pillows ...

In the evening, the children attended together a periodic repentance at the pagoda.
