Starting the Temporary Ordination Retreat for Children

After registering the course, the Monks divided all participants into the groups, led them to places such as: eating, washing clothes, bathing, sleeping and guiding them to prepare for the ordination rite. In the afternoon, they were instructed by the Monks to do washing clothes, arranging blankets and pillows.

In the morning on the first day of retreat, the monks taught the demeanor of the cultivator, such as joining hands, saluting, bowing, and practicing the ritual of making lunch offerings. These are daily activities at the temple to help beginners to practice the formal, mindful and awakening lifestyle in all their gestures.

In the afternoon, the ceremony officially took place to sow Bodhi-seeds for good male sons.

At 14:pm, venerable Monks came to the main hall to celebrate the ceremony, offering incense to the Buddha.

After introducing to the program and the reason statement, the representatives of these young sons had a speech to offer to the sangha. Then, Senior Ven. Thich Chan Tinh, Abbot of Hoang Phap Pagoda had some dharma words for them. These good sons simultaneously offered their vow to ordinate.

In the solemn and pure atmosphere, the ceremony was performed. Next, the Senior Abbot gave encouragement to young male monks at Temporary ordination retreat.

The Master praised the spirit of cultivation of the children. At the same time, he also advised them to obey the Monks who will teach the practice, study the life of Shakyamuni Buddha, practice in the demeanour of cultivator, ..... after finishing the retreat back home, the attendees will train themselves discipline, order, mindfulness, awareness in all actions which helps to bring practical benefits in life.

In last, the mass have sown good seeds in this life to lead to the moral path, to be good people and when having enough conditions, these ones are ready to start on the path of official ordination to attain deliverance.
