Summer Retreat 2024 at Giai Lam Pagoda, Ha Tinh

Over 430 little cultivators gathered at Giai Lam Pagoda in Ha Tinh to attend a Summer Retreat named I am happy when learning about the Buddha on June 07th-12th, 2024 (May 02nd – May 07th, Year of the Dragon Year).

In six days and five nights, young learners practice living an awakening life at the temple, complying with rules of eating, sleeping, and living according to the Organizers' arrangement.

Attending the retreat, little cultivators will listen to instructions from the monks: Senior Thich Thien Nhon - Head of Director Board of Thach Ha District Buddhism, Abbot of Thanh Quang Pagoda; Junior Thich Chuc Cuong - Chief Secretary of Buddhism Director Board in Ha Tinh province; Junior Thich Ngo An; Junior Thich Huu Tu; Junior Thich Tuc Luong; Junior Thich Tam Luc - Head of Organizers; Lecturers, Supervisors: Junior Thich Tam Quyen, Junior Thich Minh Dinh, Junior Thich Tam Ve, Junior Thich Tam Qua, Junior Thich Tam Man, Novice Thich Tam Chat.

Cultivation program included: six Dharma talks, one discussion session, two skill activities, dharma contest, fun, two Ullambana chanting sessions. Especially, the gratitude night helps kids sow seeds of wisdom, awaken their hearts of love and understanding, etc.

The retreat ended with the joy of the young learners and their parents.
