Supporting cancer patients to attend One-Day Practice

On the occasion of One - Day Practice on Nov. 27th, 2022 at Hoang Phap pagoda, monks and Oncology Club assisted 51 patients of Cancer Hospital gathering at the pagoda to attend the One-Day Practice.

Before patients leaving the pagoda, Junior Thich Tam Hue gave gift portions to them. Each gift included two envelopes and two portions of vegetarian noodles, milk, porridge, shampoo, shower gel….

The total amount and gifts are 10,200,000 VND supported by Ms. Ngoc ‘s Group in Hoc Mon, Ms. Phuong's group in Binh Chanh with the Cancer Club and a Buddhist.

He praised the patients' difficult overcoming spirit, although the body was sick but the mind was not, and returned to the pagoda to cultivate. He advised patients to take refuge in Three Jewels, diligently recite Buddha's name, study and practice Buddha's teachings, then we will have a peaceful and happy life.

The gift and money is not much, but all patients felt gratitude for givers, because there are still many people helping to share, love and motivate them overcoming the disease.
