The 10th One-Day Retreat at Minh Chat ashram in Can Tho

Junior Thich Tam Hue and devout Buddhists of Hoang Phap pagoda returned to Minh Chat retreat in Can Tho on Nov. 26th, 2023 (Oct. 14th, LC) to attend the 10th One-Day Retreat.
Attending the practice were the presence of Buddhists at Minh Chat ashram, Can Tho, as well as Buddhists at Hoang Phap pagoda, HCMC.
After breakfast, the monks guided Buddhists in the demeanor to fold hands, prostrate; how to walk, recite Buddha's name and raise a bow to offer food.
Then, the mass had the time of reciting the Buddha's name, and chanted the precepts.
Responding to the Organizers’ invitation, Senior Thich Chieu Thuong, the Abbot of Tu Thuyen Pagoda in Soc Trang came to the ashram to share a Dharma talk with the mass in the topic "Teachings of the Sixth Patriarch Huineng.
Buddhist disciples must always know how to be grateful and repay Four great grace to parents, Patriarch, country and living beings. Thanks to these four graces, we have a good life like today. The attendees should diligently study and practice according to the Buddha's teachings, stay away from evil things, diligently do good deeds, and keep a pure mind.
Junior Thich Tam Tien, a young monk who won a scholarship at Harvard University, is currently a PhD student in the US, shared with the mass a Dharma talk "The meaning of contrition vow.
Over an hour sharing Buddhism, all listeners felt very peaceful, and took it as extremely valuable luggage on their path of practice.
Next, the Junior, monks and Buddhists went to release fish at the Co Bac ferry, Can Tho.
The day of practice ended with the joy of the attendees.
