The 11th Birthday of Dharma Guardian Team

On Dec. 11th, 2022, the administration of Dharma Guardian Group held the 11th birthday party for all members at the 3rd dining room at Hoang Phap pagoda with over 200 members returning to attend.

Dharmapala Guardian Group formed in 2011 with the idea of gathering young devotees to support Buddhism affairs of Most Master Thich Chan Tinh at the pagoda. Since then, the number of members registering to join the group has been increasing, and their need to study Buddhism is very large, so the temple has organized many activities to study, work and play in accordance with the needs of the youth, so that all members have a healthy and useful playground.

After the statement of reason and introduction of the program, Junior Thich Tam Truong, Abbot of Hoang Phap Pagoda, had a few words of advice to all these guardians. On behalf of the pagoda’s monks, the Venerable praised the service spirit of the members who have made great efforts in Buddhist work in recent times. At the same time, the group tries to learn the Dharma to apply it in life, transform body and mind in order to have peace and happiness for themselves, their families and those around them.

On behalf of the teachers in the Administer Board at the program, the Abbot awarded certificates of merit and gifts to members who have excelled in serving and protecting the Three Jewels in the past year.

After the main ritual, the monks cut the cheesecake to celebrate the 11th anniversary of founding the Dharma Guardian Group.
