The 11th Retreat "I have returned" at Dong Cao Pagoda, Thanh Hoa

Celebrating the anniversary of Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara in June is a very important event for the disciples of Buddha. From this event, the path to enlightenment and deliverance was opened, a life of compassion, love and wisdom was established, peace and happiness spread everywhere.
To pay tribute to the Buddha, Bodhisattva and Saint for saving and opening the path of awakening, as well as propagating the Dharma, in two days 2nd - 3rd of July, 2022, Dong Cao Pagoda (Thanh Hoa) organized the 11th Retreat "I have returned" for Buddhists everywhere to attend.
Beginning the retreat in the morning, Junior Thich Tam Hung, Abbot of Dong Cao pagoda, Head of the Organizers instructed the mass to homage to the Three Jewel, chanted the sutra Turning Dharma Wheel and transferred Eight precepts for the mass
In the afternoon, the mass recited the Dharma-Lotus Sutra of the Universal Door chapter and recited the Buddha's name after the time of meditation sitting.
In the evening, at 19:30, the mass invited the Abbot to preach a dharma with the topic "Reciting the Buddha with Ten main things". With a daily life story over an hour, he pointed out the importance of reciting the Buddha's name and how to gain the greatest benefit. The monk also instructed clearly that want to change cause and effect and achieve wholeheartedly when reciting Buddha's name, each person should do blessings and merit, as well as cultivate listening, thought, practice in order to be able to reach Truthfulness-Goodness-Beauty, liberate Samsara, and build a Pure Land for human beings.
On the occasion of Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara's anniversary (June 19th of the lunar calendar), the mass chanted the Universal Door chapter in the Lotus Sutra, bowed to the Buddha, sat meditation, walk in reciting the Buddha name and then chanted Sigalovada Sutra.
At the end of the retreat, monks gave Buddhists dharma gifts.
