The 13th Birthday of Dharma Guardian Team

On Dec. 29th, 2024 Dharma Guardian Team held the 13th birthday party for all members at the pagoda.

With the idea of gathering young devotees to support the temple affairs by the Most Master, the Dharma Guardian Team was formed in 2011. After 13 years of group operation, members’ number of registering to join the group has been increasing, and contributing significantly to overall success of Buddhist activities here.

 

The party was witnessed by Junior Thich Tam Nguyet, Vice Abbot of Hoang Phap pagoda along with monks. In addition, there was also the presence of nearly 150 Buddhists who were members of the group.

 

On behalf of the Manager Board, Junior Thich Tam Thien shared about the work of the Dharma Protector group in the past, and the development orientation for the next activities after declaring the reasons and introducing the program. Next, Dharma Guardian Group listened to friendly words of wisdom from Junior Thich Tam Nguyet. He clearly explained the meaning of two words “Dharma Protector”, and encouraged Buddhists to protect the Dharma in many ways, such as: the Dharma protecting of material, spiritual, and wisdom, along with doing volunteer deeds, protectors must also diligently practice and transform themselves to become better day by day. The anniversary featured special performances from singers of the Hy Minh Club and the Dharma Protector group.

 

After the main rite, the monks cut the cream cake to celebrate the 13th anniversary of establishing the Dharma Guardian Group.
