After the registration in the morning, Ms Lien Thanh and members in the Youth Club directed kids kowtowing to the Buddha, divided them into groups, and studied demeanor when coming to the temple in the main hall.
Next, the children returned to the living room to ask about the Abbot’s health and receive gifts from him. Then, the Abbot led little learners to release creatures which express their love to sentient beings.
Then, the children learned the "Musical sense" taught by Ms. Vu Thi Mai Anh, Empirical Trainer - Principal of Be Ngoan kindergarten in Bim Son, Thanh Hoa; Ms. Mai Nga, Music sense Expert - Director of Happy Music Kids Co., Ltd., to help children perceive music in all situations and have funny singing before reading books with their friends.
Children started the time to sit quietly, read the Gratitude poem led by Abbot, and listen to his teachings in the afternoon.
"Extracurricular fun in the first days of New year" program organized by Buddhist Lien Giang and members in the Club for children. All of them were guided in walking meditation by monks and nuns in the temple grounds. At the end of the practice day, little attendees met with Nun Thich Linh Luat, nuns of Linh Chieu Monastery in Dong Nai at 2:30 p.m.
Last, monks give gifts and dharma books to children before they leave the temple.
