The 19th Kids Playground

In the morning, having registered the monk guided them to the main lecture hall for sitting arrangement and listening Dharma talk from Ven. Abbot Thich Chan Tinh, also the head of the organization. He asks the children to build some small good habits in daily life such as getting up early, folding up bed stuff, covering mouth when doing yawn, giving a smile when meeting people… The teaching taken from "Lesson for Kids", the small verses composed by him published months ago.
When the kids taking their day, their parents also listen to a Dharma talk named “The Success Woman” shared by Ven. Thich Tam Thuc. The talk is taken from Anguttara Nikaya related to what makes women happiness, they are four: being good housewives (and having jobs nowadays), converting attendants (co-workers today), skillful behave to husband’s parent and well-managed family properties.
In the afternoon, the kids all recite the verse “Gratitude” composed by Ven. Thich Chan Tinh and a talk show shared by Masters Bui Tien Hung from the Millennium Program on the title of “Skills on Anti-School Violence”. The Talk provides knowledge and solution in school violence today that children can apply: non-violence playing, no motor racing, gambling, drinking and instead take some friendly and unharmful actions.
