The 21st Kids Playground

When the Covid-19 pandemic is under control in Viet Nam, Hoang Phap Pagoda organized the 21st children's playground for over 500 kids comeback to the pagoda to attend on May 31st, 2020 (intercalary month of April 09th, LC).

After finishing with registering in the morning, the Monks guided young learners to gather at the lecture hall to participate in the activities and listen to a short sharing session from Senior Ven. Thich Chan Tinh, Abbot of Hoang Phap Pagoda, Head of the Organizers.

The Monk shared information of the pandemic, symptoms and how to prevent Covid-19. Before beginning the lesson, the children watched a new music video MV from Hoang Phap Pagoda "Corona, let quickly go far …" on the screen and the children sang together the song "I Come to the Buddha."

Next, the Senior Ven. instructed young attendees to memorize 20 gratitude things composed by him. These are lessons of verses about gratitude to parents, teachers, the country, people around and all beings ... to direct the children to diligence in doing the good, away from the bad to improve themselves and benefit the life. Especially this day of religious practice, the children and their parents offered wish words and small gifts to celebrate the continuation day of the retreat. The Monk also gave some advice to the children should study hard, regularly visit the pagoda, becoming good disciples of the Buddha.

In the afternoon, little Kids had moments of quiet sitting, as well as instructing by the Monks to read the verses "Gratitude". After that, the Monks divided the children into small groups to participate in group games and receive gifts.
