The 24th Kid Playground

Hoang Phap Pagoda organized the 24th children's playground for over 450 kids to come back to the pagoda to attend on Nov. 08th, 2020 (Sep. 23rd, LC).
After finishing registering in the morning, the monks guided young learners to gather at the lecture hall to participate in the activities and listen to a short sharing session from Senior Ven. Thich Chan Tinh, Abbot of Hoang Phap Pagoda, Head of the Organizers.
The Ven. Master let the children read, understand and learn lessons from The Story of Two otters - a story from in the Khuddakapatha Nikaya of Sutra. Thanks to this, the Master helped the learners have a moral lesson which is the message the Buddha wanted to convey to participants that they should unite, love and bear to each other, not fight for sake or losing. After that, the children sang together as well as reviewing the lyrics of the songs named 'I return to the Buddha’, 'I go to the temple' - these songs conducted them to good things, avoiding evil.
In the afternoon, little Kids had moments of quiet sitting and instructed by the monks to read verses "Gratitude".
After that, there was a seminar on Protect the Health of Epidemic Period by Mr. Nguyen Trong Hiep from the Center of Life Skills - ALU Art Academy. Currently, the Covid-19 pandemic is outbreaks all over the World. Therefore, Kids should have complete knowledge of the disease, its dangers, symptoms, precautions; the way to wear masks correctly and situations that happen during the epidemic ... It is the necessary factor to protect the children's health. This understanding will help limit the spread and protect the health of themselves and community. After that, they all watched a video of the song of corona, let go far...
Before leaving, the children received gifts from the monks, the book named The story of two otters.
