The 2nd Children Summer Course Taking Refuge to the Triple Gems

In the afternoon of June 29th, 2019 (May 26th, LC), Hoang Phap organized a Taking Refuge to The Triratna Ceremony for the children who join the 2nd summer course.

At 2 pm, the monks with respectable robes began to enter the Lecture Hall. Having done some ritual activities, the monks official transfer the Triple Gems (Buddha, Dharma, Sangha) and the Five Precepts to the children. Ven. Abbot Thich Chan Tinh still in the self-retreat course, can’t present the ceremony but he sent some pep talk to all the children via monitor connecting.

Then Ven. Thich Tam Trong gave the meaning of taking refuge to the Triratna and some reminders to the children on keeping the five precepts.

The ceremony ended in the pleasure of all people.
