In the mind of spreading the Dharma, as well as wishing to support monks and nuns to have a facility to organize retreats, on June 6, 2022, Huong Phap Branch’s the Retreat entered the second day. After breakfast, students gathered in the Main Hall to listen to a Dharma talk from Junior Thich Quang Thien, Head of Education Department for Monks and Nuns, District 12, Lecturer at the Buddhism Intermediate and College School in HCMC, Abbot of Tinh Quang Pagoda, District 12, HCMC with the topic " Accompanying With Our Children On The Roads".
In life, people often make thoughts and choices on each road they go through. When we are not wise, it is easy to be led by others and choose for us. Therefore, we need to make appropriate choices depending on the situation, not breaking the law and not touching the rights of others.
The Venerable reminded the learners, when they themselves create a value system by practice and effort, we will have a firm foothold in the middle of life without being dependent, without asking for help, without begging, as well as relying on anyone. That is the time when we show that we are an adult, independent; knowing how to protect and preserve ourselves is the most practical way to repay our parents.
In the afternoon, the monks taught little participants how to fold blankets and pillows, wash clothes, learn the necessary rules when living at the temple, and regulations in the retreat.
After the recitation session in the evening, the teenager listened to the stories of the Buddha's previous lives and was told by Junior Thich Tam Trieu.
