The 2nd-day Retreat meditation - reciting the Buddha's name and the Ordination Ceremony at Tay Khanh Pagoda

Junior Ven. Thich Tam Sy had a Dharma talk in the morning to all Buddhists with the topic: "The power of habit and how to meet the Buddha."
Practitioners of dharma must eliminate unwholesome habits, achieve good dhamma, create the power that we can quickly advance to the status of Buddhahood and end samsara. In addition, it is necessary to regularly give almsgiving, keep on precepts, meditate and reflect on impermanence, suffering, and selflessness in order to sow causes and attain deliverance. That is the end of samsara.
In the afternoon, under the witness of the present monks and nuns, Junior Ven. Thich Tam Kinh, the abbot of Tay Khanh pagoda performed the Ordination Ceremony to good man Tran Van Quy named Duc Quy.
After nearly a year of novice training at the temple and meeting all good conditions, the good man has officially started on the path to leave home, following the examples of the Buddhas and the Sangha in ten directions. Venerable Thich Tam Kinh and Venerable Thich Tam Sy have had dharma words about the noble meaning of religious life, as well as the ideal that a monk should aim for. The ceremony ended in joy of the mass.
