In response to the invitation from Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hung, Abbot of Dong Cao Pagoda, Junior Ven. Thich Tam Tuong had a dharma talk to the mass through the topic "Duty of Buddhists at Home" on Dec. 12th, 2019 (lunar Nov. 17th, 2019) in the second day of the retreat.
 

The 2nd day - The 9th retreat “Learning Practice as the Buddha's teachings” at Dong Cao Pagoda

 

Through the Dharma discourse, the Monk quoted the teachings of the Buddha, so that the practitioner can understand more about their duties to the family, society and Buddhism, as well as encouragement every person to steadfastly practice the Bodhi mind on the path of cultivation

The afternoon was another preaching on the topic Why is the Three Jewels being Treasures? On this occasion, the participants had the opportunity to share their understanding about benefits of the Three Jewels.

By the way, the Monks answered the problems and shortcomings in the awareness of Buddhists, so that they can have a proper view of the Three Jewels.
