The 30th Kid Playground

Hoang Phap Pagoda organized the 30th children's playground for over 350 kids to come back to the pagoda to attend on April 10th, 2022 (March 10th, LC).

After finishing registering in the morning, monks guided little learners coming to the lecture hall to participate in funny activities, chanting the sutra titled Ullambana.

Next, Junior Thich Tam Khiet, one of monks of Hoang Phap Pagoda, preached a dharma talk with the theme Five moral principles. These are the basic things that each Buddha’ disciple or not a follower always needs to keep and steps on the path to enlightenment.

The monk explained clearly each precept and accompanied with specific, and fun examples and stories helping the children easily absorb the content of each rule, the lesson of cause and effect easily and quickly. These are all necessary ethical principles to form a clean and good life for children; since then, it has spread to many families and society. 

In the afternoon, all children came to a writing and drawing contest with the theme "I'm grateful to the Buddha."

Before leaving, the children received gifts from monks, the book named Small age, big ideas and other gifts.
