The 34th Kid Playground

Hoang Phap Pagoda organized the 34th children's playground with the theme named filial piety to parents for over1100 kids to attend on Aug. 14th, 2022 (July 17th, LC).

After finishing registering in the morning, monks guided little learners coming to the lecture hall to participate in funny activities, such as reading books and watching comics.

Next, Junior Thich Tam Hanh preached a dharma talk to young learners titled Loving father and mother. On occasion of Ullambana filial piety season, the monk told and reminded all children repaying alive parents in the family. Children who grow up, mature, reach for what they want, are always behind the eyes of their parents watching and worrying about their child every day. He preached about the sacrifices and hardships of parents from the time they were in the womb to the raising of their children. However, there are children who do not realize that great love but always demand and bother for their parents, making parents sad and distracted when working. The monk taught learners, if they love their parents, be obedient, study diligently, help with housework...

 After the dharma talk, young listeners exchanged and learned with magician Cao Phi.

In the afternoon, novice Thich Tam Thao taught kids to read the comic book named Gratitude mother and father, composed by Most Thich Chan Tinh, Master of Hoang Phap Pagoda and had a minute remembering the gratitude of their parents.

Young practitioners expressed their love to their parents on each white page, sand picture, and a rose for their parents. The gift is the whole child's heart offering their sacred love to the parents.
